I put my fishing Barbie on the roof. Unfortunately the batteries in my camera died, so I can't post a photo yet. But she looks great. Barbie is sitting on a bit of grass, posed so that her hands seem to be holding the antenna. A plastic whale hangs from the end of it. Every time I turn on the radio, the antenna extends and she catches a fish. And when I turn the radio off, she reels it in!
I think I may have to replace the whale with a lighter fish. The antenna doesn't bend too much from the weight, but I can hear the whale bouncing around, smacking into the roof, while I'm driving. I'm afraid it's going to damage the antenna.
The Barbie doll is one of those new, "more realistic body" Barbies. I have to admit, the body does look more real (though not more typical). Now she looks like a supermodel, instead of looking like Mamie Van Doren in a corset. Anyway she's wearing a bathing suit, and has big hair that looks pretty nasty after a few minutes on the freeway. I think I may give her a ponytail just so her hair won't go all over the place.
