I don't have much to say today, just wanted to check in with y'all. I updated the review page on this site so it has copies of all the reviews I know of, and links to the review sites. Should probably have done James Wells' Queen Mother spread first, but this was easier.
Tarot Passages kindly published a review I wrote of the catalog from the Pinacoteca di Brera museum's exhibit of early Tarot art. The exhibit happened in late 1999, a good friend of mine went to the exhibit and sent me the catalog. I've been meaning to write it up for Diane ever since, but only finally got around to it. Writing the review wasn't hard -- a fun way to spend an afternoon -- but scanning the images took about five hours.
I was also planning to review the Sutin biography of Aleister Crowley for Tarot Passages, but one day last week I woke up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat, thinking to myself "No more Crowley before bed!" I don't remember what I was dreaming about, all I remember is the strength of the injunction to stop reading about Crowley before falling asleep. Unfortunately, that's about the only time I have to read anymore, so I don't know when I can finish the book to review it. I guess I'll take it with me on the trip to Houston. It's a three day drive, and I'll probably end up doing a lot of reading each night to unwind.
