On my lunch break today I walked over to the gift shop that sells Punky Colors. That's my favorite brand of hair color, and I'm wanting to dye my hair the same color as the car. Unfortunately, they don't sell it anymore! All they had left was two jars of Apple Green. That's a nice color, another favorite of mine, but I need Lagoon Blue.
I stopped on my way back to the office and checked Lightyears, another little gift shop. They sell Manic Panic, which most people seem to like better although it's never worked as well for me. But they were out of the bright blue anyway.
I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I guess I'll have to start checking Sally Beauty stores; sometimes they have Punky Colors. If I'd checked into this earlier, I could have ordered my color from the Puky website. But then again, this week would be easier in a lot of ways if I'd done a lot of things earlier.
In other news I got the web page fixed up a little. Added an "about" page with frequently asked questions, links etc, and a "cam" page where the web cam images will go when the cams are running. I'm probably not going to convert to Movable Type before I go. It does have some features that would be nice to have, but not enough to be worth the work of getting used a new system.
Also my car is in the shop today. Having the window fixed and the fluids checked. Georg is picking me up this evening and after we've retrieved my car I'm hoping we'll have time to do a little more driving practice. If I'm really lucky, I'll also have time to return the cell phone and have another go with Verizon.
