The cams. Not working. Verizon. Buttheads. Let's just leave it at that and move on. My friends Peggy and Chris just got here a moment ago. We asked for rooms near each other, but we're on the first floor & they're on the second. At least we're in the same hotel!
Peggy brought me some much-needed fish from Toy Joy, a wonderful toy store in Austin. I had bought a bunch of fish there on my last visit to Austin last Halloween, but I hadn't gotten enough and when I lost one of my mah jongg players from the hood, I didn't have a replacement. Fortunately Peggy came to the rescue and got me the replacement and a couple of other cool fish too, including one fabulous purple and yellow guy.
Well I thought I'd write up the main street drag before Peggy and Chris got here, but that was because I assumed they'd hit traffic and be late. Now I've got to do some repairs on the car (the first batch of kids were unexpectedly grabby, more on that later) before dinner. I'll write up the main street drag later tonight, and post the photos from the art car ball. I promise!

Hey Sarah and Georg! You are missing all the fun here! There's a hard to detect but easy to catch computer bug going around. I used Norton, F-prot and McAfee to scan for it an NONE of them picked it up! I even gave Peter the heads up as he hadn't heard of it! It's a Klez worm detected by doing a regular search on the c: drive using wink as the name of the file. If it finds one..you got it. So far some TV stations, universities and ME are troubled by it. But good 'ole (not OLD) Pete found the fix. YEAH! You've got to go to Symantec for the fix. Sorry your cam isn't working. Hope my woes make you feel somewhat better. I HAVE to ask. What is the theme of your "Neighbour at the hotel"'s car?
