It's almost 11 pm. We're packed, the glue is drying on the last doodads, various batteries are recharging, and the color in my hair is setting. We're just about ready to go!
The only thing I have left to pack is the car cleaning supplies. I washed the car today and wanted the washpan to dry before I put everything in it. So I'll just toss the cleaning products and sponges into the pan tomorrow morning and put it all on the floor in the back seat. Everything valuable goes in the trunk of course. I'm a bit more sensitive to car security than I used to be, having my car broken into twice in the past two weeks.
For a ten day trip, the two of us have two bags of clothes, a bag of toiletries, ibuprophin etc., a bag with books and one change of clothes for each of us (so we don't have to take everything into the motel each night), and two bags of computer equipment.
Time to go rinse my hair.
