This post contains things I need to remember next time about the logistics of the parade and cam setup, which I might not have mentioned elsewhere. I'll keep adding to it as I think of things.
1. Get a DC adapter for the laptop. The computer and the bubble machine at the same time are too much for the inverter. It made a weird screechy noise. So we had to run the computer off the battery, which lasts about 3 hours at best.
2. Print up business cards with my URL and a photo of the car. People ask for them at every event. It's absurd that I don't have a business card. I'm a graphic designer for crying out loud.
3. When replacing the cellphone next spring, get the one with the longest battery life.
4. While taking photos of the cars, don't forget to take some of the people riding in Undersea Mah Jongg. And the cam equipment. And it would be nice to have someone get a shot of me, too.
