old newspapers

Does anyone know where I can get a lot of old newspapers? I need them for mulching my garden and we don't get a daily paper.

the back of the station wagon on 9th street. all you need is a crowbar!

how much do you need? ray subscribes to the paper. we don't have a huge stash or anything, but every week on recycling day our bin is full.

I want a *lot* -- enough to make a layer 20 sheets thick covering that whole bed along the driveway -- but I'll gladly take your recycling bin for several weeks! thanks!

You can have ours too. I get two per day during the week. I could also bring some of the school recycling home. It just got taken out yesterday, but it should start piling up again soon.

The recycling center near A Southern Season (the new one) has a truckaway for newspapers. If you time your visit correctly, you can raccoon out as many newspapers as you would ever ever ever need. (The truckaway starts empty, slowly fills up, and usually gets removed when it's mostly full. Then the cycle repeats.)

Also, it's probably easy to cruise a townhome neighborhood (like mine) on recycling day (Tuesday) and fetch all you want out of the many convenient bins.
