Anyone know of a good digital camera repair service? I just dropped my camera and now when I turn it on, it makes a loud noise and says "system error."

bad news ... the repair will probably cost $175 and take 5 weeks. This for a camera that was 2 years out of date when I bought it.
It's a great camera, I've been very happy with it, but I was thinking about upgrading anyway because it lacks some features (like a hot shoe) that would let me learn more about photography. I was hoping to wait another year or so until the digital SLRs drop into my price range, but alas I don't have that option now.
So I guess I'll be deciding over the next few days whether to be fiscally sensible and get another digital like what I have now, or go for broke and upgrade to a digital SLR.
