These things are like crack: give in once and you can't resist.
Ten Things I Have Done That You Probably Have Not
(if you do not live with me)
- published a book containing the British royal family tree
- driven at 40 mph with a bubble machine affixed to the roof of my car
- visited the Tarot sculpture garden by Niki de St. Phalle
had 4 different permanent colors in my hair at one time (also done by Lisa! dang!) - eaten at Morimoto
- seen the inside of a crematorium in person, and seen film of a cremation in progress
- had my photo in a national newspaper
- cooked a dessert that included spinach as an ingredient
- started my blog in May 2000
- sewed a vintage Dior
- answered the phones during pledge drives at 2 different PBS stations to support Dr. Who
and now the follow-up:
Ten Things I Have Done That You May Have Too
(idea from Nellorat)
- hosted my own radio show
- debugged a webcam uplink while driving in a parade
- watched over 200 movies last year
- made more than one historically accurate corset
- paid more for my computer (not including peripherals) than for my car
- read a Chinese newspaper article
- slept in a yurt
- lied in court
- benched 3/4 of my weight
- been a daily viewer of ABC soap operas for years
I have had my photo in a local newspaper (is national like....USA Today? The New York Times? The Wall Street Journal?) and hosted my own radio show. those must be the only things we have in common :-)
yeah, it was USA Today. To me a national paper is one you can easily get throughout the country, like the NY Times or the the Washington Post.
I'm sure those aren't the only things we have in common -- just the only ones I put on that list :)
you know, i think i actually did have four different permanent colors in my hair once. and i've definitely had more than four temporary colors (if by temporary you mean punky color/manic panic) at once.
i'm pretty interested in more information about the lying in court. ;-)
dang, I knew I should have moved the hair color one down to list #2!
The lying in court was not as scandalous as it sounds. I said I had no prior convictions in traffic court, when actually I had had a speeding ticket in another state a few years before.
