I'm super thrilled that the Starlite Drive-in will finally reopen in a couple of weeks. It's too bad that we'll be out of town and miss the grand opening on August 27, but then again I bet it will be crowded that weekend, plus I'm not really that interested in The Dukes of Hazzard.
I like their new website too, except for where they mistakenly credit me for the saveourstarlite.org site, when actually that was someone else's work. I don't know how that happened but I wrote to them and asked them to correct the error.
So anyway, I predict many fall evenings spent in lawn chairs watching movies at the Starlite. According to the faq, we can even bring our dogs!
they credit you for saveourstarlite on the new site?? where?
you did the visual design for the saveourstarlite site and i believe i credit you there for that, i guess to some people visual design = the entire site.
sigh. oh well. there's probably no way i can correct it without being incredibly petty.
i wish opening weekend were something other than the dukes of hazzard, too. oh well... i'm sure by the 3rd or 4th weekend they're open the crowds will have died down a little, and maybe they'll get a film that i actually want to see.

it's on the "thanks" page. It does say "design" so maybe they got it from what you had said. But there's no credit to you for the site (your name is in a list of people who worked for the starlite, but nothing specific about the website) so it's very misleading.
I understand how you feel, believe me, but I already wrote asking him to correct the error & credit the site to you immediately, so let's hope he does so.
