So how am I doing on my weekend checklist?
- Indolence: check. Spent last night and tonight with butt firmly planted on couch.
- Happy isolation: check. Blew off AV Geeks tonight, stocked up on groceries, and except for my show I don't have to leave the house for the rest of the weekend if I don't want to. I love having time to just hang out with the dogs.
- Soap operas and goofy movies: check. I had been saving my soaps for a couple of weeks & have watched twelve episodes so far (they had Nathan Fillion back on One Life for a couple of days! He was the best Joey ever!). And Copacabana is on right now, and I have a couple of other movies lined up that sound like fun.
- Geek project: check. The massive indexing project continues apace. It's actually fairly enjoyable to do while watching TV. It's so trivial it's like doing nothing, but I'm actually doing something, so I don't have to feel guilty about lying on the couch watching soap operas all night.
Looks like I'll have to violate the checklist tomorrow morning, as the lawn needs mowing. Otherwise? Butt, meet couch.
