Yesterday was Jacob Bronowski's 100th birthday. I fondly remember watching his BBC series on science, The Ascent of Man. And good news! Netflix has it! When I checked a couple of years ago the DVDs were hard to get in the US.

I was walking around with that Python line in my head the other day. I've been mentally spelling the doctor's name wrong somehow all these years.
"How does Dr. Bronowski know which zoo it came from?"
"He knows everything."
"Ooh! I wouldn't like that. It'd take all the mystery out of life."
