Did you see this car in Durham NC

Although not the original car seen in Superfly (1972) - this pimpmobile has the era-specific grille cap, chrome lady goddess (1941 caddy hood ornament), Superfly headlight covers (ol'skool D&Gs), and the unconventional - the 84 swangaz (the rims on the 'Lac were made by Weld Wheels - in H-town, these rims are known as 83s, 84s, Swangas, and elbows). These rims were made in 1983 and 1984 by Weld Wheels although they were discontinued after 1985. Rap star Paul Wall stated in Rides Magazine that these rims are now worth $10,000 and here in the streets of Houston, U must have the respect for the swangaz. Either the rims are bought secondhanded for $5000+ with the Vogue tires, or stolen from another Caddy.

Most recently, the company Texan Wire Wheels have reproduced the 83 and 84s; rap star Trae has appeared in the commercial - if U have these rims on your car, U are considered gangsta, player, and/or a parking lot pimp.

I know who owns the original superfly Cadillac

A lot of rappers may have the large grill but, it's not the real ones, like the ones that are made Les Dunham, the person and founder of Les Dunham Coach in New Jersey, that makes the grills, "Fly Lights" which are the headlight covers, chrome visors from the front windshield, and special and i mean special spoke wheels than the conventinal swangaz ya'll see today, the ones u see is not the exact ones made by Les Dunham. And like i said before about the grills, the real grills that were really invented for cadillacs that were made by Les Dunham, actually have the chrome wings on the fron of the grill. Plus, a lot of rappers and most people don't know anything about the "Fly Lights". So, like Les Dunham said once during an interview on the Super Fly movie, "If you don't have the grill and the lights, it's not an El Dorado".

He is also know for customizing the car that was on the 1974 movie "SuperFly", which he really did not make for the movie, but for the person for which the car really belonged to who was a real-life pimp that went by the name K.C. The producer and the director of the movie saw his car (which was the 1972 Eldorado that was on the movie superfly and customized by Les Dunham) at the hotel were they where staying at where K.C. was also staying there and asked him can they barrow his car for the movie and he said yes. But, later on he called the movie directors and told them "Ain't no niggers makin no movie". However, he let them keep the car for the movie and after they was finished making the movie they gave the car back to him.
