Note the tube of glue and bag of beads sitting on the hood (between the shark and the koi). I drove almost the whole way to Chapel Hill -- including stops at the mail center and the bank, and driving at 60 mph on the 15-501 bypass -- with them sitting right there on the hood. Noticed them as I was passing by the new Kohl's, jumped out at the stop light in front of BCBSNC and grabbed them. The bag of beads was even sitting open, and not a single bead spilled out. My car rocks.

this has actually happened before with various items, mostly car decorating implements but once we drove all the way to chapel hill (and back, i think) with a pair of pliers on the roof.
