This photo and the next were taken on Wednesday, when we took advantage of the warm weather (and Thirteen's no longer being freaked out and pacey) to sit outside for a while. While we sat there a bunch of bluebirds were twittering over the suet feeder, about 20 feet away. Bluebirds. Not quite on my shoulder, but close enough. I hear there are more of them in NC during the winter because they migrate down from the north. I want to put up a bluebird house and maybe encourage a few to stay.
