They had a spectaular crash a moment after this. The Titanic shell popped off, tipped up on one end and sank, leaving behind the under-structure in which they finished the race. We heard speculation that the sinking of the Titanic was intentional, because the under-boat looked like a lifeboat. I have a photo of them fishing out the Titanic but I'm having trouble posting it.
